I am Rev (Dr.) Tope Ade, a Strategic Care Coach, Ministry Consultant, and Pastor-Theologian. But more than any title, I am someone who has been through it herself and came out the other side with something worth sharing.

But before we talk about what I do, let me tell you a little about who I am.

I am Dr. Tope Ade, known as Pastor Tope. I am a passionate Christian and a family-oriented woman with Christ-centered values. Before my degrees and ordination, there was a little girl who was called. I had known since childhood that my life was meant to be poured out in service to God and to people. That calling has taken me through seasons of real joy and real pain, mountains and valleys, losses and restorations, and through it all, she has seen God’s faithfulness up close.

Today, I bring everything I have lived through, studied, and been trained in to one purpose: helping you walk into the healing and freedom that God has for you. Whether you are an individual looking for a safe place to process, a couple in crisis, a church in need of support, or a ministry leader seeking fresh tools, Dr. Tope Ade is equipped and ready to meet you where you are.

My Mission and Commitment is:

• I am very careful how I treat others because I believe that life is a seed therefore, I do my best to treat people the way I will like to be treated.
• I am very sensitive to the Holy Spirit and being sensitive to His voice has saved my life and that of others several times.
• I love to see people living up to their potentials and I motivate them to find their purpose and excel in it.
• I am committed to the teaching and preaching of the gospel and in making disciples for Jesus Christ.
• I love to see lives, and families healed, vicious cycles of pain broken and people walking in wholeness, restoration, and freedom.

MY CALLING

Just like Samuel, I was called as a child to serve God and to serve His people through the ministry of the Word, Prayer, Encouragement, Freedom and Healing. I have yielded myself to be used of Him whichever way He pleases, trusting Him with my life and everything. I received a clear direction about my call to ministry in April 1994 although according to my dad, the signs had been there since I was a little child, and it was confirmed to me again in August 1995.

As a Strategic Care Coach, I meet people in some of their hardest moments, trauma, inner wounds, divorce, grief, or simply the weight of a season that has gone on too long. My counselling practice, The Listening Ear, uses a compassionate blend of psychotherapy, scripture, listening prayer, Christian coaching, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit to walk the hurting and brokenhearted into the wholeness God designed for them.

I also equip others to care well through three training courses: First Responder Course, for church and ministry leaders who are often the first point of contact in a crisis. Women in Ministry Training: focused emotional and spiritual development for women called to serve and lead. Basic Biblical Counselling Course: foundational Christian counselling training for anyone who supports others

The Pastor-Theologian

My call into pastoral ministry was pre-destined by God and systematic. Like Jeremiah, I believe God knew me and set me apart before I was born, and from childhood, that calling was evident. I gave my life to Christ at 15 and have been serving in the Church ever since.

I became a minister in 1996 and was ordained in 1997 in Tallahassee, Florida, under the apostolic leadership of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide. I served at various levels within the organisation and later pastored Daystar Worship Center in Rosenberg, Texas, for seven years. I currently serve as Pastor and Visionary Leader of Liberation Call Christian Ministries, The Freedom Hall, near Frisco, Texas.

Apart from shepherding, one of my greatest joys is teaching. I believe I am growing daily in this gift as the Holy Spirit guides me through the pages of Scripture. Drawing from my seminary training.

Serving in various capacities in the Church, as well as my advanced degrees in the seminary with my doctoral specialization in Church Ministries and Leadership, have enhanced my skills in helping churches and ministries at various levels of growth, to train and develop their ministry team, and equip them with the tools they need to adequately serve in their local church and to be effective in the ministry. I help in developing training manuals, Sunday school materials, facilitate leadership seminars and trainings, and help the ministry staff and volunteers to identify their gifts.
